I’m excited to run for city council and hope to be able to give back to this great city. From our first visit to Eagle Mountain, my wife and I realized it was a place we wanted to live. Since moving here, we have been amazed at the sense of community, friendliness of the people, and extensive outdoor activities. In short, we love it here! I want to serve this city and help preserve this unique community for future generations.
Here’s a little bit about me. Firstly, I’m a Utahn through and through. I grew up in Sandy and attended Hillcrest High School. After serving a mission in Mexico City, I graduated from BYU with a BS and MS in mechanical engineering, as well as an MBA. After graduating, I worked in business strategy and consulting. I currently work in business management for a local software company and am working on a Doctor of Business Administration degree focused on leadership. As you can tell, I love to learn! From my engineering side, I love numbers, facts, and analytics. From my business side, I love working with people, finding solutions, and setting things up to succeed. Using this unique combination of skills, I would help plan out a bright future for our city.
I was lucky enough to marry my angel wife, Kerry, back in 2019. We recently had our first child, Elizabeth, and we absolutely love being parents! We enjoy playing pickleball, watching Star Wars, and going on walks around the city. My family means the world to me, and I am running to ensure that Eagle Mountain remains a great place for all of us to raise our children.
