Preserving the Essence of Eagle Mountain for Future Generations

Eagle Mountain is an amazing place to live, but we are experiencing historic amounts of change. I want to help preserve our outdoors and friendly way of life for our children. Read below on how I plan on doing that.

Smart, Controlled Growth

Eagle Mountain is experiencing, and will continue to experience, explosive growth. It is estimated that by 2065, 28% of Utah’s population will live in Utah County, and Eagle Mountain will be a large portion of that growth. I want to ensure that we have smart, controlled growth so our city remains a desirable place to raise our families. I will do this by:

  • Limiting high-density housing and supporting infrastructure development
  • Preserving our outdoor areas including trails and wildlife corridor
  • Attracting businesses that will be good members of our community

Conservative Values

We all chose to make Eagle Mountain our home because it’s a family-friendly city and an economical place to live. We need to keep it this way. I will fight to do so by:

  • Keeping our city government small and efficient
  • Minimizing taxes because you work hard for your money
  • Maintaining a family-friendly environment

Community Engagement

Do you know what is going on in the city? The government exists to serve you but can only do that if it knows its citizens. That is why community engagement is an important part of city government and requires a proactive approach. I will make this a main focus of mine by:

  • Holding frequent town halls to hear from you about your needs
  • Supporting community activities to help citizens get to know each other and the city better
  • Facilitating consistent communication from the City so you know when things impact you and your neighborhood
